The shared goal of the communication team and SIETREM\u2019s eco-agents is to inform and empower residents\u2014helping them reduce the amount of waste they produce and guiding them in adopting better sorting practices in their daily lives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Communication efforts focus on two main areas : written communication and face-to-face local outreach.
This waste awareness work responds to several key needs :<\/p>

  • Addressing operational issues (e.g. missed collections, damaged bins, route schedules) and providing clear sorting instructions;<\/li>
  • Informing users about<\/strong> the full range of available services and facilities;<\/li>
  • Empowering residents to take an active role in the public waste management<\/strong> system through their daily sorting habits;<\/li>
  • Maintaining strong community ties as the population grows<\/strong>, ensuring public service remains close to the people it serves.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    SIETREM\u2019s team of eco-agents leads a wide range of in-person outreach activities. These include : <\/p>

    – Door-to-door visits to raise awareness and answer questions;
    – On-site checks of recycling bin contents to promote proper sorting;
    – Workshops and educational activities in local schools (cycle 3) and community centers during school holidays, to teach children the importance of responsible waste habits.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
